ROUSSELLE, Doreen Marie (Smallhorn)
November 5, 1937 – May 29, 2023
Passed away peacefully in the evening of Monday, May 29, 2023 at Groves Park Lodge at the age 0f 85. She is survived by her son James (Kerry), Cynthia Lambert (Rene), Patricia Siroski (Raymond), Michael (Cathy) and Mary. She will be remembered by her grandchildren Sherry Lynn Siroski, Trevor Rousselle, Darcy Rousselle, Mark Rousselle, Megan Cartman, Dylan Lambert and Kaila Yakabuskie as well as her great grandchildren. Doreen is predeceased by her husband Tom Rousselle, parents John and Grace Smallhorn, her brother Bob, Jackie and sister Beverly.
Mom loved her animals and birds and she adored her family. She was a kind loving soul.
Our family would like to thank the staff at Groves Park Lodge for the affectionate care of our mother over her time spent there. We would also like to specially thank the doctors and nurses who cared for our mother at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital.
Doreen’s final care has been entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Renfrew where a funeral service will be held in the Zohr Family Chapel on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 10:00am. Interment to follow in North Horton Cemetery. In memory of Doreen, please consider a donation to the Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation or Hospice Renfrew.
