Donna Mae Loghrin passed away at Spruce Lodge on April 5, 2023. Born in Stratford on May 16, 1936, she was the youngest daughter of Nelson Loghrin and Jenny Mae McEwin. Dear sister of Reta Moffett and Marjorie Hesse. Survived also by sisters-in-law Mary Loghrin and Marjorie Loghrin. Predeceased by sisters Frances Lawson, Elaine Jordan and a brother Bill Loghrin and brothers-in-law William Moffett, Don Hesse, Frank Jordan and nephew Paul Hesse, niece Cathleen Jordan. Special “Aunt Donna” to nineteen nieces and nephews and their children.
Donna worked at Bell Canada for 32 years. The family would like to thank the staff and residents of Spruce Lodge for their care and friendship over the past 8 years.
A Family interment will take place at Avondale Cemetery followed by a celebration of Donna’s life on Friday, April 14, from 2 – 4 pm in the Reception Centre of the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to Parkinsons Canada, Canadian Cancer Society, Stratford Perth Humane Society or a charity of one’s choice.
