Donna Jean (Schofield)
Joslin, 76, of Bridgetown, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at
Valley Hospice, Kentville. Born in Wolfville, she was a daughter of
the late Florence La Grace (Schofield) Parker and Ralph
Wilson. Donna spent most of her life in Dartmouth where she
enjoyed volunteering at church and the food bank. In her free time,
she liked having company, playing cards and bingo. She loved her
family more than anything. She is survived by sisters, Joan
McDougall and Mary Ann (Irvin) Pinch; brother, Ronnie (Heather)
Parker; brother-in-law, Roddy McCulloch; and several nieces and
nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by sister,
Bernice McCulloch and brother-in-law, Lloyd McDougall. The
family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff at
Mountain Lea Lodge, Valley Regional Hospital, and Valley Hospice, as
well as her niece, Darlene Kelly, for the wonderful care given to
Donna. Cremation has taken place and there will be no
visitation, by request. A graveside service will be held at a later
date. Donations in memory may be made to Valley Hospice Foundation or
the Valley Regional Hospital. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted
to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
