Obituary of Donald Donaldson
Don Donaldson passed away peacefully on January 15, 2023, at Kingston General Hospital after a courageous battle with Cancer in his 81st year. Don leaves behind a loving wife Diane (née Caughey), children Kim, Mark, and Melissa (Tomasz), 6 grandchildren, and 4 and a half great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his brothers Jack and Neil and his parents Walter and Gwen.
The family would like to thank the staff of KGH for their excellent care during his time there. Nothing mattered more to Don than his family, was an avid outdoorsman, loved being on the lake, and will be sadly missed by the Kingston Hunt Camp.
A visitation will be held at the James Reid Funeral Home (1900 John Counter Blvd) on Saturday, January 28 2023 from the hours of 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Family interment to be arranged in the spring. The family asks that any donation be directed to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Dementia Society.
