Donald Symington
Nov. 26, 1943 – March 21, 2023
With great sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing on March 21, 2023 of Don Symington, aged 79 years of Gimli, MB.
He leaves to mourn his passing his devoted wife of 57 years, Bernice; daughter Lorraine (Leo) Passaggio, grandson Dylan; daughter Kelly Smith and granddaughter Jessie.
In keeping with Don’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service. Private family interment will take place at a later date.
Don’s family would like to extend their gratitude to the first responders, the STARS Air Ambulance, the doctors at Health Sciences Centre, and the amazing nursing staff. Despite the difficult circumstances, the quality of care Don was given was exceptional.
