FIELD, Donald Gordon (Served with the Royal Canadian Airforce, Retired Chief Custodian with the Board of Education)
Peacefully at his residence with his family by his side on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Marie (nee Hutchinson). Loving father of Donna Zalaski, Brenda Coles and her husband Shane, and Gordon Field and his wife Kellie. Cherished grandfather of Jenny Zalaski, Jessie Ollenberger (Scott), Josh Coles (Nicole), Tyler Field, Tara Field (Jonathon Semlitch) and great grandfather of Haeley, Tolemy and Gemma. Survived by his brother Bob Field and his wife Sue and his sisters-in-law Marion Field and Bernadette Field. Predeceased by his parents Sydney and Agnes Field, his brothers Norm, Walter and Allan and his sister-in-law Dorothy. Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. There will be a Celebration of Don’s Life held at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Reception to follow in the Highland Park Reception Centre. In memory of Don, and in lieu of flowers, donations to the PRHC Cancer Clinic would be appreciated by the family.
