Donald Georges Bourgeois, 67, of Moncton, passed away on
Thursday August 10, 2023 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in
Dorchester Crossing (Scoudouc), he was the son of Rita (Vautour)
Bourgeois and the late Siméon Bourgeois.
Prior to his retirement, Donald worked within the commercial
and industrial insulation industry for 49 years.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife of 43 years,
Irma (LeBlanc); two sons: Mathieu (Rachel) and André
(Véronique); seven granddaughters: Maryse, Emily,
Maélie, Ally, Maïka, Charlie, and Mila; four
brothers: Jean-Paul (Martial), Roger (Carmella), Guy (late Gertrude),
and Maurice (Louise); one sister-in-law, Francine Bourgeois; as well
as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his father, he was predeceased by one brother,
Léo-Paul; one nephew, Marc; his father-in-law and
mother-in-law, Alyre and Généva
LeBlanc.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) where the
funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday August 15 at 2:30 pm.
Visiting hours are Monday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday
from 1:30 pm until time of funeral. Interment will be at Frenette
Columbarium. In memory of Donald, a contribution to the CHU Dumont
Foundation (oncology) would be appreciated.
