Mercer, Don, passed away at the Victoria Hospital, London, on Wednesday July 5, 2023, at the age of 71. Loving husband to Kathryn Mercer (nee Smith). Proud father of Angie, Meaghan (Alan), Erin (Mike), Scott (Dani), and Michael (Kayla).
Extremely proud grandfather of David (Kenz), Spencer, Logan, Brock, Brennan, Emerson, Samarra, Derian, Owen, Chase, Wilken, Aurora, Branson and great grandfather of Blaze.
Dear brother to Gwen (Martin) Manley, Sheree (Pat) Lacasse, Patti (Terry) Biener, and Kathy (Blaine) McKenzie. Brother-in-law to Mike (Donna) Smith, Dianne Johnston, Lauri (Wayne) Lewis, Steve (Kim) Smith, and Tom Brown. Uncle to many nieces & nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Red & Coral Mercer, his in-law’s Wray & Nancy Smith, sister Marilyn “Marnie” Brown, and brother-in-law Guy Johnston.
Visitation at the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton, on Wednesday July 12, 2023 from 6-8 p.m. A Service to Celebrate the life of Don Mercer will be held at the Eagleson Funeral Home on Thursday at 11 a.m. A Time of refreshments to follow at the Southampton Legion.
