BARBERA, Domenico – Passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday September 19, 2023 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of 64 years to Dina (nee Governale) and loving father of Joseph (Mary) Barbera, Salvino (Tonina) Barbera, Dan (Susan) Barbera, Eliseo (the late Kelley) Barbera. Cherished Nonno of Alexandria Barbera, Joel (Vanessa) Barbera, Jonathan (Meghan) Barbera, Rebekah (Thomas) Lawrence, April Barbera, the late Lucas Barbera and loving Bisnonno of Brycen, Blair, Noah, Mackenzie. He will be lovingly remembered and missed by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Barbera is predeceased by his parents Giuseppe and Rosaria (nee Cesare) Barbera, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. He was a wonderful caregiver who devoted his life to caring for others, especially his wife. He will be forever remembered as a genuine, generous, devoted, dedicated and humble man. Mr. Barbera was a Pastor with the Italian Pentecostal Church of Canada. Family and friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Saturday September 23, 2023 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service in celebration of his life will be held Sunday September 24, 2023 at 4 pm at the funeral home. Cremation will follow, with inurnment at a later date in Fairview Mausoleum.
