The family announces with sorrow her death on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 75 years. Predeceased by her husband Steven Wright in 2021. Dear mother of David Bretsznajder (Julie). Loving grandmother of Samantha and Victoria. Dear sister of Paula Roy and Gisèle Mellish. Predeceased by her brothers Marcel and Denis Roy. Dianne lived in Schumacher for over 40 years. She loved spending time at her camp on Mattagami Lake. She enjoyed blueberry picking, fishing and watching tennis and curling on TV. The family wishes to thank Dr. Wilson, Dr. Miron, Dr. Yates and the nurses and staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Timmins and District Hospital. Remembrance donations to the Timmins and District Hospital Hospice would be greatly appreciated. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Dianne’s life will be held at a later date.
