Dianne passed away peacefully at Broadmead Care Veterans Memorial Lodge on February 09, 2023. She was born in Toronto on March 13, 1944. Dianne is survived by her husband John, daughter Lisa, and sister Kathy (Pedro), brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Dianne came with her husband John to Victoria in 1968 to help work with young people where she was deeply loved. Her daughter, Lisa, was always a main focus of her life. She worked as a Coordinator of Volunteers in a seniors’ centre for many years. She was a dancer, a painter, and an avid gardener. She approached everything she did and everyone she met with love and enthusiasm. She faced all difficulties with determination and a deep belief in God.
Her family would especially like to thank all the staff at Broadmead Care for their care of her and their many kindnesses.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph The Worker parish, 753 Burnside Rd. West, Victoria BC followed by internment at Royal Oak Burial Park.
