Diane’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law and aunt; Diane Priscella Taylor (nee Neil) on Friday, February 17th, 2023, at the age of 63 years, at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre, with her loving family by her side.
She leaves to mourn her loving husband of 44 years; Alfred Taylor Sr., and her children; Alfred Taylor Jr. (Annie Gilliam) Oromocto, NB, Quentin (Jerrilynn) Taylor, Corner Brook, and Blair Taylor, Burnt Islands. Her pride and joys, her grandchildren; Brenden, Lauren, Kadience, Destini, Summer and Jaxon Taylor, step-grandchildren; Dillon, Alley, and Brooke Drover-Gilliam, her sisters; Loretta (Minter) Walters, Erica (Brett) Walker, Annette (Clayton) Vardy, Ada (John) Robbins, Lydia (Kenneth) Thorne, Florence Boivin (Jamie Bryan), sisters in-law; Dulcie (Charles) Riles, Olive (Gordon) Warren, Belinda Taylor, brothers in-law; Reuben (Marilyn Pope) Taylor, Dennis (Bernadette) Taylor, and Clifford (Denise) Taylor along with a large circle of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Family was everything to Diane. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy and she relished spending every bit of time with them whenever she could. If she was here with us today, she wouldn’t want us to share grief and sorrow. Instead, her desire would be to focus on the happy memories and joyful experiences shared over the years.
She was predeceased by her parents; Eric and Lilia (nee Thorne) Neil, sister; Margaret White (nee Neil), brothers in-law; Dale Boivin, Roderick Payne Sr., and nephew; Roderick Payne Jr. mother and father-in-law; Olive and Reuben Taylor, sister-in-law; Melica (nee Taylor) Lillington and Baby boy Lillington.
Special thanks to Dr. Blecher, Dr. O’Brian, nurses and staff at Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre, especially Jane, Sadie and Brittany and to Dr. Siddiqui and Dr. Greenland of St. John’s, NL for their care and compassion given to Diane over the years. Also, special thank you to Rev. Diana Frye and Rev. Jane Allen for their visits on a regular basis.
