Derek John Dietrich of Walkerton passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at the age of 38.
Cherished husband of Nicole (nee Zettler) and loving dad of Naviah and Jayden, and his fur-baby Memphis. Beloved son of Ron and Karen Dietrich, and brother Ryan Dietrich, all of Mildmay. Derek will be forever remembered by his father and mother-in-law Rick and Donna Zettler of Teeswater, sister-in-law Brenda (Steve) Beninger of Teeswater, and Jonathon Zettler of Teeswater. He will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews, Trystan, Ashlyn, and Jace Beninger, Kyle and Tyson Zettler, Quinn, Ainsley, and Logan Dietrich, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and his many great friends, neighbours, and co-workers.
Predeceased by his grandparents Norman and Anna Dietrich, and Fred and Gladys Klages.
Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at Knights of Columbus Hall, Walkerton. A time of remembrance will be held at 2:00 p.m.
Private family interment in Calvary Cemetery, Walkerton.
