La famille annonce avec regret son décès soudain le dimanche 25 juin 2023 à l’âge de 64 ans. Fils bien-aimé de Gérard et Fabiola (Richer) Patry. Cher père de Mickaël Patry. Grand-père de Caleb et Abbygaël. Cher frère d’Evelyne (Philippe Desjardins), Robert (Lucy Belliveau), Yves (Lucie Simoneau), Chantal (Normand Schmidt), Maurice (Suzanne Duquette) et Francine (Denis Fortier). Il sera manqué par ses nièces, neveux, petites nièces et petits neveux. Denis aimait la pêche, le plein air et ses chats. Il était un homme de peu de mots, indépendant, solitaire et aimait être dans ses affaires. Il aimait garder à lui-même ses soucies et ses inquiétudes. Sa famille était très importante pour lui. La famille tient à remercier son colocataire Pete ainsi que Dr. Miron pour sa compassion et compréhension durant ce temps difficile. L’incinération à eu lieu et il y aura une célébration de vie à une date ultérieure. Les dons commémoratifs au Timmins Food Bank ou à la fondation des maladies du cœur et de l’AVC seront grandement appréciés. The family announces with sorrow his sudden passing on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at the age of 64 years. Loving son of Gérard and Fabiola (Richer) Patry. Dear father of Mickaël Patry. Grandfather of Caleb and Abbygaël. Dear brother of Evelyne (Philippe Desjardins), Robert (Lucy Belliveau), Yves (Lucie Simoneau), Chantal (Normand Schmidt), Maurice (Suzanne Duquette) and Francine (Denis Fortier). He will be missed by his nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Denis loved fishing, the outdoors and his cats. He was a man of few words who kept to himself but his family was important to him. The family would like to thank Dr. Miron for his compassion and understanding during these difficult few days. As per Denis’ wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of life at a later date. Remembrance donations to the Timmins Food Bank or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
