BASTIEN, Deborah Ann (nee Reid) – It is with great sadness the family of Deborah Bastien announces her passing, with her family by her side, on Sunday May 7, 2023. Beloved wife of Luke Bastien, her best friend and love of her life. Loving mother of Cassie (Chris), Dylan (Julie), Coty (Nicole), Laura (Luke) and Steven (Hannah). She will be fondly remembered by her many grandchildren, who she loved spending time with. Dear daughter of John and the late Patricia Reid and daughter-in-law of Luke and Cheryl Bastien. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother Chris (Dianne), nieces Emily (Len) and Ashley and her closest friends ever Sue and Jeff Pietz. Deborah loved to garden, was an avid bowler at Jeff’s Bowl-O-Rama and enjoyed her weekend motorcycle adventures. Her biggest passion was her family, she always enjoyed the cottage time spent with the aunts and cousins. Special thanks to the St. Catharines Hospital (2nd and 3rd floors) and the Walker Family Cancer Centre. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
