David Lyle 1927 – 2023 It’s with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of David Lyle on April 4, 2023. David will be forever remembered by his loving and devoted partner Betty Leigh of 45 years, loving daughters Vicki Hunter (Bob) Wendy Lyle (Brian), grandchildren Lisa and Jamie, great grandchild Noah, and Wendy’s long time friend Lynn Fletcher. David will also be missed by his nieces and nephew along with many other friends and family. David retired at age 54 from a 35 year career with Cockshutts / White Farm Equipment as a Manager. His passion was Square Dancing and enjoyed 20 years of dancing with Betty in various cities. David was a kind and respectful man with a strong love for animals. As per David’s wishes, a Celebration of Life will take place at Beckett-Glaves Funeral Home located at 88 Brant Ave., Brantford on Saturday, April 15th from 2pm to 4pm. In lieu of flowers, Dad’s wish is for donations to be made to the Brantford SPCA. A tree will be planted in memory of David in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
