Dick: David Alexander –
A lifetime resident of Chatham, David Dick passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on March 21st, 2023 at the age of 82.
Born in Chatham, David was the son of the late Proctor and Lena (McAdam) Dick.
He has been reunited with his loving wife Delynne Dick (nee Sadlier).
Loving brother to the late Barbara Moir (Wally) of Chatham and survived by sister Elaine Thompson (Murray) of Burlington.
Loving uncle to Alex Moir (Linda), Mark Moir (Lynn), Peter Moir (Tammy), Janet Rodger (Jim), David Thompson (Sandy), Stephen Thompson and Fraser Thompson.
David will be deeply missed by his great nieces, nephews and many friends.
Being an entrepreneur all his life, David was a man who saw opportunities. He provided leadership and energy in the expansion of Western Freight Lines and Erie & Huron Beverages.
In keeping with David’s wishes cremation has taken place with an interment at a later date.
Donations made in memory of David to a Charity of choice would be appreciated.
