MOON, David William – In his 79th year, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, June 22, 2023. Beloved husband of Peggy for 56 years. Loving Father of Debbie Mahoney (Pat) and Stephanie Berkenbosch (Ben). Cherished Grandfather to Zachary, Devon, Emma, Conner and Jaxson. Son of the late Jack and Corinne Moon, Brother of the late Sandra (Ian). Throughout his life, Dave had a passion for photography, fishing, hunting and hockey. In his retirement, he enjoyed building cedar strip canoes and taking his car to classic car shows. Dave was a kidney transplant recipient, thanks to his son-in-law Pat Mahoney, and showed his gratitude by volunteering as a Transplant Ambassador. Dave will be cherished in the hearts of all who knew him. Family and friends are invited to join a Celebration of Life/Reception from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Friday, July 7, 2023 at Highland Park Funeral Centre (2510 Bensfort Rd.)., donations may be made to TAP at transplantambassadors.ca, Online Book of Condolence may be signed at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
