David (Diamond Dave) Prysiazniuk
February 10, 1959 – March 23, 2023
A sensitive soul who loved his friends and family. Good- natured, funny, generous, and had a heart of gold.
Born in St. Catharines to a large Ukrainian family. His adventurous spirit brought him to Maple Ridge, BC, in 1986 with the love of his life, Diane. He loved carpentry, nature, travel, camping, gardening, history, antiques, maintaining vehicles. His chopper once placed best in BC. He loved his children, the best he could. He adored his Mother dearly. Predeceased by sister Rose, brothers Ed and Paul, his partner Diane, and very recently his mother Stella.
Leaving behind his children Julie, Laura, and David. Grandchildren Seth and Eva. Three siblings and many nieces and nephews. David’s tender soul split after Diane’s passing, the estrangement from daughter Laura whom he missed immensely, and he fell on hard times. Yet, he always remained generous and cared for those who didn’t have enough in his community.
