In Loving Memory of David Lamb
On the morning of August 27, David Lamb peacefully passed away in his sleep at his home in Minden. David was in his 86 year and was the beloved husband of Loretta Lamb for 65 years David was a loving father to Janet (Grant), Karen, and Deborah (Don). Cherished grandfather to Lindsay (Chad), Jason (Sarah), and Tyler; and great granddaughters Norah, Aubree, and Mia. Dave is survived by his sisters Gloria and Dorothy (Bob). He is predeceased by his parents Allister and Wilhelmina, his siblings Cecil, Allan, Ross, Ivan, Eleanor, and Murray and his in-laws Alice and Joe Voicey.
David enjoyed farming, showing horses and feeding the fish in his pond. He loved collecting shells on the sandy Florida beaches, sweet desserts, and a good game of bid euchre. His love for family and family gatherings is what brought him his most enjoyment.
Friends are invited to visit the family at the Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home Ltd., 127 Bobcaygeon Rd., P.O. Box 427, Minden, K0M 2K0 on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 from 11:00 am until the time of the Service to Celebrate David’s Life at 1:00 pm. Interment at Twelve Mile Lake Cemetery, Minden. Reception to follow at the Lamb’s Residence, 1618 Blairhampton Road, Minden.
Memorial Donations to the, Haliburton Highlands Health Services Foundation- Community Care (HHHSF-Community Care) would be appreciated by the family.
