It is with heavy hearts the family of David Joseph Robichaud announce his passing on, Friday, August 11, 2023, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Loving husband of Sharon Robichaud and the much loved father of Stephen (Diane) Donnelly, Michael (Colleen) Donnelly, Joe Donnelly, Marcia (Jim) Smithbauer, Kelly (Fred) Donnelly and Lori (Scott) Greer. He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren Tracey, Tara, Vanessa, Andrew, Francesca, Aaron, Isaac, Mathew, Nick, Dean, Chase, Cameron, Carter, Alex and Charlie and great-grandchildren James, Whitney, Lilianne, Ivan, Natalia, Zoey and Sawyer. Loving brother of Danny Robichaud and brother-in-law of Nancy (Joe) Ledoux and Marlene Jenkins. David is predeceased by his parents Mary and Henry Robichaud and his brothers Ronnie, Henry, Frank and Jake. He will also be deeply missed by many other family members and friends. David could often be found enjoying the trails along Lily Lake or delivering Meals on Wheels to those in need. He was a die-hard west sider and for better or worse a Toronto Maple Leafs fan. David provided for his family with over 30 years in the commercial paving industry as well as 15 years with CPR Truckers. He will be missed. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Drive, Saint John, (506-646-2424). Friends will be received on Thursday, August 17, 2023, from 2-7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place, on Friday, August 18 at 2:00 p.m. at Saint Joachim & Ann Parish, 135 Simpson Drive, Saint John. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations to Rocmaura Nursing Home or Redhead Strays Helping Stray Cats Strut would be greatly appreciated.
