“Not Long Enough”
I AM HEARTBROKEN by the sudden loss of my sweet, loving husband, best friend and soulmate.
Dave approached both the complex challenge of multiple diseases and life itself with grit, gratefulness and grace. His legacy to all who loved him is steadfast hope; “all good here” and bountiful care for the well-being of others ahead of himself, always delivered with his signature sense of humour. When asked by a chemo nurse how long had we been married, without hesitation Dave replied “Not long enough”.
Dave will be deeply missed by his brother Greg (Val+ 2020), sister Judy Coverdale (Bill), brothers-in-law Norman Conlin (sister Janice+ 2022), Ken Myhr (Katrina Anderson), Ron Myhr (Judy Smolarz), nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends – all very dear to him.
Dave you graced our lives for not long enough, but you will forever live on in the sweetest part of our hearts.

As per Dave’s wishes, cremation has taken place and his interment will be on March 18th 2023 at 1:00pm at the Grace Anglican Cemetery, Waterdown, Ontario followed by a Celebration of Life reception at the KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown.
