McKibbon, David Edward (February 3, 1945 – August 1, 2023)
Passed away, peacefully into the arms of Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, David Edward McKibbon at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Woodstock, a former resident of Otterville, Tillsonburg for 25 years and RR2 Courtland, in his 79th year. David enjoyed playing cards with the Langton Merrymakers Seniors Club. He loved his scooter and could be found most anywhere. He also liked hitch-hiking to get around. David was born in Otterville to his late parents Alfred Venner (1961) and the late former Pauline Margaret McKibbon (2015). Loved brother and brother-in-law of Art and Helen Venner, of Simcoe and the late Dianne (2015); Johnny Venner, of Tillsonburg; Mary Lou Arts (Bill Arts), of Delhi and Dora (Floyd Butcher), of Tillsonburg. Also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Public visitation will be held on Friday, August 4th, 2023, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Public Funeral Service to Celebrate David’s Life will take place on Friday, August 4, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes Chapel, 262 Broadway St., Tillsonburg, by Pastor John Friesen, of New Hope Baptist Church. Interment follows in the Otterville Cemetery.
