Surrounded by family and dear friends at the Brockville General Hospital on August 16,2023 at the age of 59. Beloved husband of Marie (Hurlbert) for 30 years. Cherished Dad of Benjamin and Michael. Loved brother of Alan (Syd), dear brother-in-law of Bill Hurlbert (Shari) and proud uncle of Frazier and Ainsley and Shae-Lynn and Jadyn. Also survived by his mother-in-law Pat Hurlbert (Bill Sr. deceased) whom she loved as a son and family in the U.K. as well as many close friends that Dave considered family (you know who you are). Dave was predeceased by his parents Irene and John Howard.
Family and friends may pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James Street E, Brockville on Sunday August 20 between 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. and Monday August 21 from 10 – 10:45 a.m. immediately followed by a service that will be held in the chapel. Interment will take place at Oakland Cemetery in Brockville. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or to a charity of your choice and will be gratefully acknowledged.
