David Andrew Dransfield passed away on May 31, 2023. David was a long-time building inspector with the City of Edmonton 1964-1976, Government of Alberta 1976-1993, and owner-operator of Dransfield Inspection Services. He retired in 2019 after a long career in the Construction Industry. David will be lovingly remembered by his wife of sixty years, Alwyn; his three daughters, Sandra (David Mousseau), Dianne (Eric Stubbs), Kerri (Brent Gavey) and his four grandchildren, Ryan and Adam Stubbs, and Luke and Violet Gavey. At David’s request, there will be no funeral, but friends are encouraged to raise a glass, share a story, or perform a random act of kindness in his memory. In lieu of flowers, if desired, Memorial Donations in David’s honor may be made directly to the Red Deer Hospice Society at www.reddeerhospice.com.
