It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. David Allen Giberson at his home in Red Deer, Alberta, on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at the age of 60 years. David was born in Shellbrook, Saskatchewan, where he grew up and finished High School, later moving to Calgary, Alberta. Later in life, David moved to Red Deer, where he made a career working in maintenance at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, and then the Bowden Institution. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed spending time listening to music, camping, fishing, motorcycles, and hockey. David will be lovingly remembered by his longtime friend, Violet Loewen; his two sons, Dylan Giberson and Landon Giberson; and his two grandchildren, along with his brother, Micky Giberson. David was predeceased by his father, Charles Giberson; his mother, Mildred Lorraine Denton; his brothers, Steven Giberson and Duane Giberson; and his sister, Debra Kuhn.
