Obituary For Darrel Alfred Amundson
Darrel Alfred Amundson, longtime resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away at La Crete, AB, on Friday, December 2, 2011, at the age of 41 years.
Darrel was born on July 21, 1970, in Watson Lake Yukon, to Lloyd and Linda Amundson. Darrel’s kindness, loving smile and generous nature are more memories we will always treasure. Darrel was blessed with the gift of making many lasting friendships with anyone he came in contact with.
His memory lives on through his love and dedication for his wife Fawn; his children Tyler and Alyssa-Rae; father Lloyd Amundson; father and mother in-law Bob and Elaine Murray; sister Sherri Antonio (Jim); brother in-law Robert Murray (Karen); nieces and nephews: Ashley, Brittani, Nathan, and Isabelle Antonio, as well as many cousins.
He was predeceased his mother Linda Amundson; grandparents Marguerite and Earl Boose, Victor and Melvina Wiegel; as well as grandfathers David Cary and Alfred Amundson.
A Viewing was held on Friday, December 9, 2011, from 7:00-9:00pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home.
A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, December 10, 2011, at 2:00pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home.
