BARNES, Danny Gilbert – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Danny. He passed away peacefully, at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, on Monday, January 2, 2023 with family by his side.
Danny was the loving father of Daniel (Kristine), and Jonathan Barnes. Cherished grandfather of Lily, Danielle, Penni, Isabelle, Benjamin, and Kay-lee.
Danny will also be greatly missed by his mother Rita Barnes, his brothers Denis Barnes (Donna), and Gary Barnes (Stephanie) as well as uncles Dave Stothers (Edith), Mark Stothers (Debbie), and ,many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Danny’s life will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions to the Canadian Diabetes Association greatly appreciated.
