Daniel Majcher, of Miramichi, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 68.
Born in Brandon, Manitoba, he was the son of Vera (Atkinson) Majcher and the late Charles Majcher. He worked in accounting and also refinished furniture.
He will be greatly missed by his wife Janet Majcher of Miramichi; son Chris Majcher (Sophie) of Cole Harbour, NS; daughters Amy Gray (Matthew) and Megan Majcher both of Miramichi; sister Bev Majcher of Red Deer, AB; five grandchildren Olivia Rose, Alexa, Audrey, Logan, and Madelyn; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his father, he was predeceased by an infant daughter Sarah.
In keeping with Daniel’s wishes, cremation has taken place at Northumberland Crematorium. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date in Nova Scotia.
The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Losier and all of the staff at the Miramichi Regional Hospital for their compassion and care.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
