Ever loved and known as Daniel Ernest Hubley June 19th, 1962
– May 17,2023.
Known to those who loved and supported him as, Dad,
Son, Brother, Uncle, Cousin and amazing friend.
Danny’s loving and devoted family describes him as
affectionate, mischievous, so hilariously funny, strong, and dedicated
to those who were blessed to be loved by him.
Danny’s soul was filled with a beautiful spirit,
amazing resilience, plenty of humour, kindness and compassion, as well
as a friend to all.
Danny had the incredible talent to take something
broken and make it work like new again. He enjoyed the outdoors and
spent a lot of his time out on the land at Vogler’s Cove, or
listening to the sound of the ocean at Crescent Beach. He put full
effort forward when helping out family, whether it be helping fix
something, baking and preparing food for a family gathering, or making
sure conversation was flowing and everyone was having a good time.
Danny also had a love for treats and snacks, and he would often
conspire with his Great Nephew Gryphon to sneak some chips or ice
cream for the two of them while everyone else was asleep (sorry Danny
your secret is out.)
Dad and best friend to Alexander, who will always
remember his dad with love and devotion. Alexander was Danny’s pride
and joy; his biggest and best accomplishment in this
life.
Son to Mary, he was devoted, protective and so proud to have
her as his mom.
Predeceased by his father Carroll Hubley.
Son to Charlie, who he looked up to, respected, and loved
very much. Charlie says Danny was a lovable jokester and they always
shared many laughs together.
Brother to Debbie and Linda, who he loved so very much.
Siblings that never gave up on each other, they supported each other
and picked each other up when one fell down. The bond between them was
unbreakable and everlasting.
Uncle to Nicole and Thomas, and Great Uncle to
Gryphon. Danny loved them beyond words, and was always ready with his
witty jokes, making sure fun was frequently part of their time
together. Nicole, Thomas and Gryphon felt the love from their Uncle
Danny, and that is what being an Uncle was for Danny.
Danny was a friend to all; always there to lend a helping
hand or to support a friend when they were in need. Danny never said
no, never had to be asked to help his friends or even a stranger. He
had a soul filled with love and compassion.
If I could use a quote to speak for Danny, I would have to
say this; “Never allow waiting to become a habit, live your
dreams, life is happening now.” Always remembered and always
loved by his beautiful family.
Loving son Alexander (Chantel)
(Alexander’s mum Annette), loving parents Mary and Charlie,
loving Sister Debbie and Brother-in-law and best friend David, loving
Sister Linda and Brother-in-law Shawn, loving Niece Nicole (Jared),
Great Nephew Gryphon (Gryphon’s dad Darryl), loving Nephew Thomas,
loving Niece Erika.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of life will be
