Courageously passed away at the farm in Ennismore, with his family by his side on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at the age of 60. Danny will be missed by his loving companion, Estelle Raby. Beloved son of Bonnie and the late Pat Young (2018). Proud father of Clayton (Meagan). Cherished brother of Ron (Silvane) Buzzell, Theresa (Neal) James, Pat Jr. (Kelly) Young, Pauline (Joe) Czerniawski, and MaryAnne (Paul) Linton-Phillips. Danny will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews, extended family, and many friends. The family would like to thank Estelle for her exceptional love, care, and support during Danny’s journey. As well as, thank St. Elizabeth Nursing Care Team, Lakeridge Hospital, Wheels of Hope, Dr. Mallory, and Dr. MacMillan. A Celebration of Danny’s life will be held at Ashburnham Funeral Home – 840 Armour Road, Peterborough on Sunday, September 24, 2023 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM with Reflections at 2:00 PM. Interment at St. Martin’s Cemetery, Ennismore. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ennismore Heritage & Artspace Centre.

You came into our lives 22 years ago on the Unger farm in Ennismore. You blew in and changed our lives. You could be late, loud, stubborn and exasperating but we adored you. Your charm allowed you to get away with a lot of stuff. How do we even begin to fill the void you have left. We loved you and will miss you to the ends of our lives. Be at peace friend.
