96, the family of Cyril announces his peaceful passing on Monday, March 13, 2023 at home. Just one month after the loss of his wife Mary of 67 years. “May they be happy and in eternal peace”. Cyril was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Cyril was a long time retiree of Hermes Electronics in Dartmouth. He will be missed by his children, Michael, Lakeside; Mary (Rick), Lakeside; Robert (Cindy), Timberlea; Andrew (Cathy), Ontario; Bernadette (Mark), Dartmouth; Stephen (Denise), Hubley; daughter-in-law Gwen Smith-Dockrill, Halifax. 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Also predeceased by sons Cyril, Eddy; grandson Jason; parents Edward & Mary Dockrill; sister & her husband Marie & Jim Sweeney; brother & his wife Ron & Dot Dockrill; in-laws Margaret & Carmen Benjamin; Dot Beaver. Cremation has taken place with Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Upper Tantallon. A Celebration of Life will take place on Wednesday, March 22 from 1-3 p.m. in the MacDonald Memorial Legion #156, 231 Greenhead Rd., Lakeside. Online condolences can be made to www.rawalker.ca
