Cyriel Odiel Vanhoucke, age 89, of Stratford and formerly of Tillsonburg passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital on January 9, 2023.
Dear husband for 43 years of Donna. Loving father of Neil (Allison) and grandfather to Eliza and Maisie. Brother of Andre (Marie), Maurice (Jacqueline), Raymond (Margaret), Roger, Godelieve Poppe, Monique Wood (Malcolm). Also survived by sister-in-law Ruth Ferris, brother-in-law Ross Gladstone (Beth) and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by brother Gerard (Lillian), sister-in-law Anne Vanhoucke, brothers-in-law Fred Poppe, Vernon Ferris and his parents Edward and Leonie Vanhoucke.
Friends and relatives are invited to Avondale United Church, 194 Avondale Avenue, Stratford on Wednesday, January 18, where the funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. with a reception to follow.
