Cynthia Ann Slater “Cindi” age 66 , passed away peacefully Thursday, March 30th, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer at Chatham Kent Hospice with her husband and two sons by her side. The daughter of James and Yvonne Wallace. Wife of Trevor. Mother of Ryan Bond (Alfred), Jeff Bond (Latoya) and Mom to Trevor’s daughter Melanie Schihl (Rick). Grandmother of Ashton Bond, Emma Bond and Ethan Bond. Loving Grandma to Trevor’s grandchildren Rowan Stephenson and Hunter Stephenson. Sister of Nancy Robarts (Frank), the late David Wallace and the late Bruce Wallace. Special memories for Cindi were her trips to Italy, Greece, Cozumel, Jamaica, Punta Cana and special time with her pets Cody and Sophie. She worked for 20 years with ScotiaBank in Chatham. Her passions were gardening, reading, watching tennis and traveling
The family will receive friends and relatives from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm on Saturday, April 1st, 2023 at Life Transitions 397 McNaughton Ave W. Cremation to follow. Cindi was loved by everyone she met and will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
