COTÉ, Julie Alice
June 11, 1974 — June 7, 2023
The time has come to say goodbye to a very special person in our lives. Julie Alice Côté (née Thomson) passed quietly away June 7, 2023, in the Central Okanagan Hospice House after a 7½ year battle with breast/brain cancer. She fought so hard. Julie was predeceased by her Dad, Ken Thomson, in 2004. She will be loved and missed by her Mom, Dorothy, and step-dad, Doug; her precious children, Corwin and Anwen; her sister, Cindy (Barry); her brothers, Bruce and Wayne; her nieces, Denise and Kim (Jamie) & family. Julie will also be deeply missed by her in-laws: Rene, Melanie, Neil, and their families. She had too many friends to name, but especially Angela, Lin, and Monica, who were so good to her.
Thanks goes out to Dr. Baxter who tried his best to help her in this long journey, and to Dr. Hendricks who visited most days.
No service by request, but a celebration of life will be held July 28, 2023, details to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to BC Cancer Agency or to the Central Okanagan Hospice House.
