DI LOLLO, Cosimo – Passed away at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Thursday February 2, 2023 at the age of 74. Cherished husband of 56 years to his one and only tesoro, Anna (nee Ciccone) and son of the late Giuseppe and Rosa (nee Notte) Di Lollo. Devoted father of Joe (Laura) Di Lollo, Rosy (Dave) Avolio, Lora (Joseph) Di Lollo Sorrenti. Devoted Nonno of Julia Di Lollo, Sandra Di Lollo (Jordan Beatty), Michael Di Lollo (Erin Jesik), Andrew Avolio, Alyssa Avolio, Gianna Sorrenti and Gabriella Sorrenti. Loving brother of Luisa (the late Luigi) Cuccovia, Addolorata (Giuseppe) Cellurale and Maria Di Lollo. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. Cosimo immigrated from Italy with his wife Anna to Thunder Bay, Ontario. After a few years they decided to relocate to Niagara Falls, where he worked hard and raised his family. He was a mason by trade, but was a successful businessman owning and operating Niagara Falls Masonry working on apartment buildings, houses, condominiums and shopping plazas. Cosimo lived for his family and friends, always offering a glass of wine, homemade prosciutto, a funny story to tell and much advice. More than anything on Earth, he treasured time spent with his family and grandchildren – piccionelli di Nonno, whether it was family dinners, watching a movie wrestling, traveling or shopping sprees at Toys ‘R’ Us. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Sunday February 5, 2023 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday February 6, 2023 at 11 am at St. Thomas More Church, with the Rite of Entombment to follow at Fairview Mausoleum.
