Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Clinton Eugene Northrup wish to announce his passing which occurred on February 25, 2023, at Embassy Hall Shannex. Born September 1, 1929, to the late Frederick Scovill Northrup and the late Flora Alberta (Owens) Northrup.
Clinton enjoyed woodworking, projects in the garage and gardening . More recently, he spent 27 winters in Florida. He was very charming and enjoyed his social activities that included square dancing and a member of the KV Valley Cruisers. He will be remembered for being as fast with his wit as he was on his feet. He had a great love for his Pomeranians.
Surviving are his children; Curtis (Debbie), Claudia Dale (Glendon), Cynthia Christie (Scott), Murray (Bonnie), and Lee (Serena), 9 grandchildren, 12 great- grandchildren, along with several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife and mother to his children, Myrtle June (Perry) Dykeman, and his son Eugene Scovill Northrup, by his second wife Mary Louise (Wiggins) Northrup
The family would like to express their gratitude of the care and compassion of the many personal care workers Clinton had at his residence and to the staff at Shannex Embassy Hall .
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). Following cremation, a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, May 6th , 2023 at 2.00 PM at the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at the Cambridge Narrows Cemetery. Remembrances made to the Cambridge Narrows Cemetery or charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
