The family announces with great sadness the passing of Claude Sevigny, on Wednesday August 9, 2023 at the age of 74 years. Son of the late René and of the late Marie-Ange (née Bureau). Also predeceased by his father and mother-in-law David and Auxilia Lachapelle. Beloved husband of Denise (née Lachapelle). Loving father of Marc, Joanne (Bob Chasse), and Joey (Jennifer Brander). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Marc Jr. Sevigny, Melanie Sevigny (Reg), Shawn Nugent (Aline), Jess Lavigne (J.C.), Kayla Sevigny (Riley),Nancy Sevigny (Corbin), Josée Sevigny and his great-grandchildren AJ, Desirée, Isaac, Odin, Tristan, Teegan, Grace and Mia, as well as by his many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Laurette Leger (Réjean), Armand, late Yvon, Rose (Les), Flo, Roger (Monique), Aimé (Carole), and Julienne. Predeceased by his sister-in law Jacqueline and his brothers-in-law Fern (Diane), Joe (Pauline), Maurice, and Victor (Faye). Claude will be especially missed by his best friend Shawn and will always be remembered by Jess as being the greatest “pépére” in the world. In accordance with the family’s wishes, a celebration of life will be held at a later time. Funeral arrangements in care of the Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls.

Son souvenir restera gravé dans la mémoire de ses petits-enfants Marc Jr. Sevigny, Melanie Sevigny (Reg), Shawn Nugent (Aline), Jess Lavigne (J.C.), Kayla Sevigny (Riley), Nancy Sevigny (Corbin), Josée Sevigny et ses arrirère-petits-enfants AJ, Desirée, Isaac, Odin, Tristan, Teegan, Grace et Mia, ses plusieurs nieces, neuveux et cousins. Frère et beau-frère de Laurette Leger (Réjean), Armand, feu Yvon, Rose (Les), Flo, Roger (Monique), Aimé (Carole) et Julienne.
