It is with profound sadness that the Family of Clarence Allan Brown announce his passing, February 11, 2023, at the age of 81.
Al Is survived by his children, Michael (Lisa) Brown, David (Kellie) Brown, and Carol (Gary) Batchelor. Grandchildren; Richard McKee, Konner Brown, Meagan (Micheal) Morrish, Morley, and Aislin Brown. Great-grandfather to Jaxon, Kendall, and Silas Morrish. Al leaves one surviving sibling, Kathleen Prentice (nee Brown).
Al was born to Clarence and Edna Brown (predeceased) in Uxbridge in 1941. His career took him North Bay, then to Sudbury where he worked at Cambrian College. Al was a great friend to many, and his sense of humour easily created more friendships. Al’s reputation was one of few words, but he made each one count. He was known for his keen wit, warm smile, and mischievous glint in his eyes. He was always willing to help a hand to anyone who needed it.
A memorial service will be held at Lougheed’s Funeral home on Saturday March 11, 2023, in Hanmer, from 1-4 pm. The Family would like to thank the staff at Health Sciences North for their compassion and care.
