Obituary of Chris Lucas
It is with heavy hearts the family of Chris Lucas announces his passing on March 5th, 2023 at the age of 50. Loving husband of Ashley Lucas for 8 wonderful years. Cherished father to Jonny Lucas. Beloved son of Herb and the late Martha (2009) Lucas. He will be fondly remembered by his siblings, Sarah (Scott) Surette and Jessica (Terry) Pranger. He will be missed by his in-laws Cathy (Roy) Andersson and Murray Truax, and brother-in-law Jake Truax (Heather Norris). Proud uncle of Katie-Jo, Devon, Scottie, Cole, and Little Jake. He will be missed by many extended family members and friends.
Chris was known as an all-round country boy. He loved the outdoors. Camping in the summer months was always something Chris looked forward to. He had a passion for motocross and enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends at the track. Chris had a love of music and had the ability to create a song out of anything. Chris always made people smile and laugh with his charming, yet sarcastic sense of humour. His friends would say, “Chris was a country boy before country was cool.”

As per Chris’ wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a kick ass party to celebrate his life at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made charity of choice.
