Obituary
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Cheryl Louise (Wilbur) Granik, which occurred on Sunday, June 18th, 2023, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1948, in Moncton, NB, she is the daughter of the late Blake and June (Whalen) Wilbur. In her earlier years, Cheryl worked in retail & sales and also sold mini homes. She loved painting, listening to music, reading and gardening. She adored animals, especially her cats Leo and Flash. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Cheryl is survived by her son Patrick St. Onge of Saint John; daughter Sue St. Onge of Saint John; brothers Carl Wilbur (Joy) of Sackville, NB, Tom Wilbur (Simone) of Dalhousie, NB; sister Dawn Merrifield (Bill) of Public Landing; as well as nieces, nephews and friends. Along with her parents, Cheryl was predeceased by her husband Moshe.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424). A Memorial Service will take place in the Fundy chapel on Monday, June 26th at 2 p.m. Interment will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of Cheryl may be made to the SPCA-Animal Rescue or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
