Obituary
Charles “Charlie” R. Moores, 73, of Riverview, passed away at his residence on Sunday, February 12, 2023. Born in Small Point, Carbonear, NL, he was the son of the late Thomas and Margaret (Elford) Moores.
Charlie worked for many years with the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency retiring as Manager. He was a fan of technology and time spent on the computer. He enjoyed stamp collecting, photography, travelling and story telling. But above all he was a family man whose greatest joys in life were spending with those he loved.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Sandy Moores; his children, Cherie Moores, Chris Moores (Amanda), Leslie Decker (Cory) and Brad Wood (Elyse Ford); grandchildren, Ryan, Ryder, Jackson, Owen, Chloe and Paige; sister, Ida Crummey (Melvin); as well as several extended family.
In keeping with Charlie’s wishes there will be no visitation hours or funeral service. The family will hold a celebration and burial at a later date in Newfoundland.
Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) in care of arrangements.
In memory of Charlie, memorial contributions to a memorial of choice would be appreciated. Online condolences for the family may be shared on the Fergusons Funeral Home Facebook Page or at
