It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles Vincent Stewart; gone but never to be forgotten. Loving father to Lisa Stewart (Don Renaud) and Kathleen Donison (Dan Paquette). Predeceased by his parents Donald and Jeannie (Kinney) Stewart. Dear brother to Kathleen (John) Guitar, Robert (Kathleen) Stewart and late Patrick (late Doris) Stewart. Cherished grandfather to Brooke (Lena), Faleen (Adam), Sarah (Nick) and Noah. Great grandfather to Athena and Ares. A very special place in the hearts of his many nieces and nephews. Best friend to Robert Day, Mohammad Booze, Michael and April Rifici. Charles was an avid fisherman who loved the mountains. Charles served in active duty in Vietnam and worked many years at the Chrysler Van Plant Local 444 Unifor. He was proud to be part of a union of brothers with memories he carried throughout his lifetime. A very special thank-you to Suzanne Hurst, Jeanette Wilson, Jeannie MacKay and Jasmine Wilson for taking care of him in the hardest years of his life and staying with him to the end. Thank-you to the staff at Cardinal Place and Huron Lodge for caring for him and the family. He will be missed and he will be remembered. Visitation at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home, 197 King St. W. Harrow on Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made by cheque to M.S Society.
