Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of, Charles Brennan on April 13, 2023 at the McNally House Hospice with his family by his side. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 48 years, Carol;
children: Connie (Mario), Peggy (Tony), Penny and Christine (Bryan);
grandchildren: Nathan, Austin, Chloe, Myia, Brooke, Jamilee, Jolynn; and his walking buddy Tucker.
Charles, also known as Papa, was a loving devoted family man that loved the outdoors. He dedicated over 30 years as a “Can Man” working at Ball Packaging in Burlington, ON. He spent every summer vacation with his family camping, boating, and fishing. He also enjoyed gardening, especially growing his tomatoes and sunflowers. He loved his sports; many people knew him as a fanatic that supported the Toronto home teams. He was always loudly cheering on The Jays and The Leafs. He not only was a devoted Husband and Father but an amazing Papa. He leaves his family with so many wonderful memories of laughter and happiness.
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service at Kitching, Steepe & Ludwig Funeral Home,146 Mill St. Waterdown on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 1:00 pm. Reception to follow. In the spirit of Charles’s fun, light hearted nature and being a super-fan, we invite everyone to wear any Toronto Blue Jays or Toronto Maple Leafs apparel.
The family wishes to thank the staff and volunteers at The McNally House Hospice for the outstanding compassion and care for Charles.
In lieu of flowers as a expressions of sympathy, the family would like to pay it forward and ask for any donations to go to The McNally House Hospice.
