Passed peacefully away on February 11th, 2023, at Pleasant view Towers, Catherine (Kay) Oliver, age 80 years.
Predeceased by her husband, John.
It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our mom, grandmother, great grandmother, mother-in-law, and friend.
Leaving to mourn her loss is her daughter Gail (Joe) Greene, and sons John (Ann Marie Vaughn), Philip (Joanne). Three precious grandchildren, Nancy (Chris White), Katie (Craig Farewell), and Kathleen Oliver; great grandchildren Cohen & Ellie White and Oliver Farewell as well as a large circle of family and friends.
Visitation to take place from Caul’s Funeral Home, Torbay, on Sunday, February 12, from 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. and Monday, February 13, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Service time to be announced.
Special thanks to the staff at 2 NE and 3 SW at Pleasant View Towers for treating Kay like family and taking such great care of her and loving her for the last five and a half years.
Kay was a vibrant, outgoing, adventurous spirit who would bring a smile to all who knew her. Although Alzheimer’s had stolen a lot of her memories, she still had that sparkle in her eye and her beautiful smile that sometimes would come through to let us know she was still with us. Kay loved life and cherished her family. We are left with many wonderful memories and stories of such a beautiful person.
Flowers gratefully accepted or donations can be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Society.
