It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Casey Dennis McDonald, late of Fond Du Lac, SK on March 25th, 2023, in Fond Du Lac, SK at the age of 23 years. Casey was born in Prince Albert, SK on January 18th, 2000, to Bertha & Benny McDonald. Casey will be lovingly remembered by his parents Benny & Bertha McDonald; his siblings Stacy (Jules) Mercredi, Benny (Nicole) McDonald, Brandon (Destiny) McDonald; his nieces & nephews Tenille Martin, Carter McDonald, Nellie Martin, Alyssa McDonald, Daisey Mercredi, Brooke McDonald, Dylan McDonald; his aunts & uncles Brenda McDonald & family, Bertha (Felix) Mercredi, Diane McDonald, Darryl (Florence) McDonald & family, Danny (Jodi) McDonald & family, Dorothy (Eugene) Fosseneuve & family, William McDonald & family, Beverly McDonald & family, Linda McDonald & family, Raymond (Diane) Mercredi & family, Allan Roy (Dora) Mercredi & family, Rosie Mercredi & family Virginia Robillard & family, Mary Rose (Darren) Hanson & family, & Shawn (Amanda) Mercredi & family; his godparents Harvey (Brenda Anne) Laurent; his godchildren Byron Joseyounen & Brooke McDonald; his co-workers at Nuna, Apex, Team Drilling, Martin’s Contracting; as well as numerous other family and friends. Casey was predeceased by his grandparents August & Agnes Mercredi, Bart & Ernestine McDonald; his great-grandparents: John & Pauline Mercredi, Louise & Napoleon Mercredi, Fred & Sarah Mercredi; his step-great-grandfather Eli Henirazie; his step-grandparents Noel & Rosanna Noel; his aunts & uncles Albertine & Joseph McDonald, Albert Mercredi, Alex Mercredi, Tina Mercredi, Bernice McDonald, Danny McDonald, Dennis McDonald, Johnny McDonald, Albertine Augier; & his cousin Conrad. A Wake Service will be commencing Wednesday, March 29th, 2023, at the residence of Benny & Bertha McDonald in Fond Du Lac, SK. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 3rd, 2023, at 2 PM at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Roman Catholic Church in Fond Du Lac, SK. The Officiant will be Father Paul Oshin. The Honourary Pallbearers are Justin Hugarth, Collin Mercredi, Leroy Whitedeer, Keifer Mercredi, Trevor Lidguerre, Terry Janvier, Courtney McDonald, Alden McDonald, and all those who knew and loved Casey! The Pallbearers are Richard McDonald, Victor McDonald, Carl Beavereye, Troy Fern, Ivan Jr. Adam, Curtis Fern, Rodney Jr. Adam, Ian Isadore, Andrew Isadore, Terrence Donard, & Corey Disain.
