Sunday, July 9th, 2023, at the
Renaissance Nursing Home, Dalhousie, at the age of 78, passed away Ms.
Carol MacGarvie. She was the daughter of the late Claire (born
Fournier) and the late Morris
MacGarvie.
She will be sadly missed by her children: Darla Donovan of
Toronto and Shonnah (Allen Benwell) of Campbellton, her
granddaughters: Courtney and Christine Comeau, and her great grandson
Chase Jardine and her many good friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, her sister Dawn Carter,
her sister Jean Fournier, and brother Wayne MacGarvie. She was the
last surviving member of her family.
Mrs. Carol MacGarvie will rest at Savoie Funeral Home,
situated at 47 Alexander St., Campbellton, on Friday, July
14th from 2:00 till 3:30 followed immediately
by a funeral service at the funeral home. A donation to the
Restigouche SPCA or to the New Mills Extension Cemetery Fund would be
greatly appreciated by the family.

  1. SHONNAH, COURTNEY AND CHRISTIE I AM VERY SORRY FOR THE LOSS OF YOUR MOM AND GRANDMOTHER. COURTNEY YOU WENT TO VISIT HER AS MUCH AS YOU COULD AND CHASE GOT TO MEET HIS GREAT GRANDMOTHER AND MAKE SOME MEMORIES. SHONNAH I KNOW WHAT IT IS LIKE TO LOOSE A MOTHER. IT IS LIKE A PART OF YOU IS GONE. YOU WERE VERY GOOD TO YOUR MOM AND SHE WAS LUCKY THAT YOU COULD BE THERE WITH HER ALL THE TIME. MAY THE LORD COMFORT YOU AT THIS VERY DIFFICULT TIME
