Carl Thompson entered into rest, surrounded by his family, at Victoria Manor Lindsay on Sunday May 7, 2023 at the age of 88. Carl was the beloved husband of the late Helen, loved father of Carol Jerome, Robert (Heather) Thompson, Steven (Trish) Thompson. Cherished Grandfather of Peter (Sara), Danielle (Mark), Matthew, Adam (Morgan), Andrew (Tayler) and Taylor also great grandfather of Emma, Adley, Quinn Benjamin, Brody and Blake. Dear brother of James (Betty) Thompson, Marion (David) Thaxter, Lorna Krugel, Lloyd (Carole) Thompson, Allen (Theresa) Thompson predeceased by Velma Maunder George Thompson, Pearl (Bob) Hampton and Andy Krugel Clarence and Gord Henry. Survived by sisters-in-law Mary Lou Thompson and Irene Henry and missed by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Monday May 15, 2023 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and Tuesday May 16, 2023 from 10:00am until time of service in the chapel at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Eden Cemetery. If desired memorial donations to Diabetes Canada can be made by cheque at the funeral home or online at www.mackeys.ca
