It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of a much loved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister-in-law and aunt, Lydia Anne “Annie” Green of Winterton.
Predeceased by husband Jehu, son-in-law Francis Piercey, special great grand-daughter Janna Grace Hiscock, parents Caleb and Mary Banton, sisters Myrtle (Bill), Flossie (Leslie), brothers Ernest (Lydia), Gordon (Olive), Fred, Windross, brothers-in-law Pearce (Cindy), Bertram (Bertha), Harvey (Margaret), Raymond (Joan), Calvin, sisters-in-law Marguerite (Jacques), Beulah (Allen/Melvin), Rita (Ernest).
Leaving to mourn with special memories daughters Marina, Mary Blanch (Gary), son Jeffrey (Gail), grand- daughter Michelle (Mark), grandsons Todd (Lori), Colin (Jennifer), great granddaughter Gina, great grandsons Ryan, Brandon (Jennifer), Nicholas (Hayley), Jacob, Noah, great-great granddaughters Ruby and Ellie, brothers-in-law Everett (Geraldine), Melvin (Jessie), sisters-in-law Annie Banton, Greta Banton and LivyGreen and a large number of special nieces and nephews that she dearly loved.
We extend special thanks to staff on 3South of the Private Josiah Squibb Long Term Care Center at Carbonear. Your care and support for Mom over the past 11 months is to be admired and your concern, care and support to Mom and our family over the past couple of weeks was exemplary.
Visitation will be held at Green’s Funeral Home in Winterton on Friday, January 12th from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 7:00 – 9:00 PM. Funeral service to be held from the Funeral Home on January 13th at 2:00 PM. Anyone wishing to do so may make a donation to The Kidney Foundation of Canada in Mom’s memory. To.
