Edward James Yetman

With tremendous sadness, and broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of Edmund James Yetman, age 76, of Trepassey, (formally of St. Mary’s).
Ed is predeceased by his parents; Leo & Imelda Yetman. Brothers; Matthew, Leo Jr, Hugh, Edgar, and sister; Josephine Lamothe. Parents-in-law; Patrick and Catherine (Kit) Corcoran, brothers-in-law; Patrick Corcoran Jr, John Connors, and Bill Baker. Sisters-in-law; Elizabeth Yetman and Linda Corcoran.
Ed is also pre deceased by his best friend, and brother-in-law; Jimmy Corcoran who he lived across the road from for 51 years, and his dear friend, Richard Ryan.
Leaving to mourn with fond and grateful memories are his beloved, and hilarious wife of 52 years, Hilda (nee Corcoran) Daughter; Nicole, son-in-law, Steve Ryan; the son he never had, his grandchildren, who were the apple of his eye; Carson (Abby) and Claire Ryan. His loving Sisters, who adored their big brother, “Eddie”; Annette (Keith Mooney) and Stacey McIlwaine, along with Brother; Karl. Brothers-in-law; Ed Corcoran. Sisters-In-Law; Peggy Connors, Nettie Baker, Jeannine Corcoran, and special sister-in-law, neighbour, and friend, Evelyn Corcoran.
Left with an abundance of memories are his many adored nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and god children, with an honourable mention to; Cordell, Denis, and Trent Corcoran, who were like his own, and special friends; Norm, Kevin, Fred, Kelvin, Brendan, Jim, Cyril, Dave, and Marjorie.
We are eternally grateful for the love and support of Dr. Heather Cuddy, her advocacy and true humanity, and to Dr. Tom McGarry for his 45+ years of care, and Fr. Peter Golden for years of friendship.
We send huge thanks to Barb, Brenda, Trent, and Guy for your hands on support before, and after Paramedics arrived, and to Mrs. Lucila James for your kind deed.

Visitation at Fahey’s Funeral home, Trepassey on Saturday, February 17th from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral Mass to be held at 11:30 am on Sunday, February 18th.
